Refit

NOTE: Ensure tapered locating pins on new radiator are facing upwards.

  1. Fit lower mounting rubbers to new radiator.
  2. Manoeuvre radiator into position and locate onto lower mountings.
  3. Connect top hose to radiator and secure clip.
  4. Position bonnet support platform, fit and tighten screws to 9 Nm.
  5. Fit screw and nut securing bonnet safety catch and tighten to 6 Nm.
  6. Position top hose support clip and tighten screw.
  7. Connect multiplug to radiator cooling fan.

Air Conditioning

  1. Connect multiplug to condenser cooling fan.
  2. Fit and tighten bolt securing air conditioning pipe bracket.
  3. Fit and tighten nuts securing condenser mountings.
  4. Refill cooling system, See Adjustments.

THERMOSTAT

Service repair no - 26.45.01

Remove

  1. Drain cooling system. See Adjustments.
  2. Remove air cleaner assembly. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - MEMS, Repairs.
  3. Remove inlet manifold chamber. See MANIFOLD & EXHAUST SYSTEMS, Repairs.
Thermostat – Remove inlet manifold chamber. See MANIFOLD & EXHAUST SYSTEMS, Repairs.
  1. Disconnect coolant sensor multiplug.
  2. Release 2 clips securing engine harness to brackets.
