EXHAUST FRONT PIPE - DIESEL

Service repair no - 30.10.09

Remove

  1. Position vehicle on 4 post ramp.
Exhaust front pipe - diesel – Position vehicle on 4 post ramp.
  1. Remove engine acoustic cover.
  2. Disconnect battery earth lead.
Exhaust front pipe - diesel – Disconnect battery earth lead.
  1. Remove 3 bolts securing exhaust manifold heat shield and move heat shield aside.
  2. Remove bolt securing turbo charger heat shield to bracket.
  3. Remove 3 nuts securing exhaust flange to turbo charger outlet elbow.
  4. Remove turbo charger heat shield bracket.
  5. Release front pipe flange from turbo charger outlet elbow.
  6. Remove and discard gasket.
  7. Raise vehicle.
Exhaust front pipe - diesel – Raise vehicle.
  1. Release front pipe from mounting.
Exhaust front pipe - diesel – Release front pipe from mounting.
  1. Remove 3 nuts securing front pipe to intermediate pipe.
  2. Release front pipe from intermediate pipe.
  3. Remove and discard gasket.
  4. Release and remove front pipe.
