INLET MANIFOLD GASKETS - DIESEL

Service repair no - 30.15.08

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Remove exhaust manifold assembly. See this section.
Inlet manifold gaskets - diesel – Remove exhaust manifold assembly. See this section.
  1. Remove 8 nuts securing inlet manifold.
  2. Remove manifold.
  3. Remove and discard 4 manifold gaskets.

Refit

  1. Clean manifold mating faces and fit new gaskets.
  2. Fit manifold, fit nuts and tighten to 30 Nm.
  3. Fit exhaust manifold assembly. See this section.
  4. Connect battery earth lead.

Remove

Exhaust manifold heat shield - diesel – Service repair no - 30.15.09
  1. Remove engine acoustic cover.
  2. Disconnect battery earth lead.
Exhaust manifold heat shield - diesel – Disconnect battery earth lead.
  1. Loosen union nut securing EGR pipe to exhaust manifold.
  2. Remove 2 bolts securing pipe to EGR valve.
  3. Remove pipe.
  4. Remove and discard gasket.
