INLET MANIFOLD CHAMBER GASKET - KV6

Service repair no - 30.15.37

Remove

1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
2. Remove engine acoustic cover. See BODY, Repairs.

3. Release clip securing intake hose to idle air control valve.
4. Release clip securing intake hose to throttle housing and move hose aside.
5. Disconnect engine harness multiplugs from bracket on throttle housing.
6. Release throttle cable from abutment bracket.
7. Release throttle inner cable from cam.
8. Disconnect 2 vacuum hoses from throttle housing.
9. Release 4 vacuum hoses from manifold chamber.
10. Disconnect 2 multiplugs from variable intake system (VIS) motors.
11. Disconnect multiplug from manifold absolute pressure sensor.
12. Disconnect multiplug from idle air control valve.
13. Remove 4 bolts securing manifold support brackets to RH camshaft cover. Remove brackets.
14. Remove 2 bolts securing engine harness to manifold chamber.
15. Remove 2 nuts and 2 bolts and release manifold chamber.
16. Release throttle position sensor multiplug and remove manifold chamber.
17. Remove gasket and ’O’ rings from inlet manifold.
