Exhaust manifold gaskets - KV6 (page 4 of 4)

Refit

1. Clean exhaust manifold and cylinder head faces.
2. Fit new manifold gaskets to cylinder heads.
3. Position LH manifold and fit but do not tighten nuts.
4. Fit new gasket to LH exhaust manifold flange.
5. With assistance carefully lever engine forward, fit front pipe assembly and locate RH exhaust manifold to studs.
6. Fit new gasket to exhaust flexible pipe.
7. Tighten LH exhaust manifold nuts to 45 Nm.
8. Fit RH exhaust manifold nuts and tighten to 45 Nm.
9. Fit exhaust flange nuts and tighten to 40 Nm.
10. Fit bolts securing exhaust support bracket to engine sump and tighten to 25 Nm.
11. Connect rubber mounting to exhaust flexible pipe.
12. Fit centre beam and tighten bolts to 60 Nm.
13. Fit and tighten front steady bar bolt to 45 Nm.
14. Fit underbelly panel, See BODY, Repairs.
15. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
16. Connect front and rear oxygen sensor multiplugs.
17. Fit spark plug cover to LH camshaft cover. Fit and tighten bolts to 4 Nm.
18. Fit engine acoustic cover, See BODY, Repairs.
19. Connect battery earth lead.
