INPUT SHAFT SEAL

Service repair no - 44.20.17

Remove

  1. Remove gearbox assembly. See this section.
Input shaft seal – Remove gearbox assembly. See this section.
  1. Remove and discard input shaft seal using suitable lever.

Refit

  1. Clean seal housing and input shaft.
  2. Lubricate new ’O’ ring with gearbox fluid and fit onto input shaft.

  1. Push seal into place using tool 18G 1509.
  2. Refit gearbox assembly. See this section.
