  1. Remove hub ring.
Remove hub ring.
  1. Remove 3 screws securing disc shield.
  2. Move shield for access to ball joint.
  3. Remove spring clip and remove boot.
  4. Remove circlip retaining ball joint.
Remove circlip retaining ball joint.
  1. Fit tool 18G 1730/1 over ball joint and fit nut to secure tool.
  2. Fit tool 18G 1730/3 to swivel hub.
  3. Position assembly in vice and use vice to press ball joint out of swivel hub.
  4. Open vice and remove swivel hub and tools from vice.
