1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine cooling fan adjustment heating coil.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine cooling fan.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the horn.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the windscreen washer pump.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the linear pressure switch.

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR 1.3 Multijet VERSIONS

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for the heater plugs control unit.

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for pressure sensors (1a) and temperature (1b) for the particulate filter

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE VALID FOR ALL VERSIONS.

1. - Disconnect the electrical connection for the front crash sensor.

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for brake liquid level sensor (1a) and ABS control unit (1b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the reversing switch.

- Operate both wheel rpm sensors:

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the front wheel rpm sensors.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the brake pad wear sensor.

- Work on both sides of the vehicle:

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for the door wiring.

2. Disconnect the rear couplings to the dashboard crossmember wiring.

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR PETROL VERSIONS

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the coupling to the engine wiring.

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR 1.3 Multijet VERSIONS

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the coupling to the engine wiring.

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE VALID FOR ALL VERSIONS.

1. Undo nuts (1a) and remove bulkhead coupling protection (1b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for brake pedal switches (1a), clutch (1b) and accelerator potentiometer (1c).

- Undo the earth spots arranged on the wiring and disengage the wiring from retainers.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the passenger compartment wiring coupling.

3. Disengage bulkhead hole seal between the engine compartment and passenger compartment, then remove the engine compartment wiring.

Refitting

- Check that the engine compartment wiring is not damaged and that the individual conductors are correctly fastened to the connections.

- If necessary, carry out continuity tests.

- Place the engine compartment wiring in position, inserting it via the opening on the engine compartment side.

- Fit the bulkhead coupling in place and attach the retainers.

1. Connect the electrical connections for brake pedal switches (1a), clutch (1b) and accelerator potentiometer (1c).

2. Connect the electrical connection for the coupling to the passenger compartment wiring.

1. Position bulkhead coupling protection (1a) and tighten nuts (1b)

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR PETROL VERSIONS

1. Connect the electrical connection for the coupling to the engine wiring.

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR 1.3 Multijet VERSIONS

1. Connect the electrical connection for the coupling to the engine wiring.

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE VALID FOR ALL VERSIONS.

- Work on both sides of the vehicle:

1. Connect the electrical connections for the door wiring.

2. Connect the rear couplings to the dashboard crossmember wiring.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the brake pad wear sensor.

- Operate both wheel rpm sensor connections:

1. Connect the electrical connection for the front wheel rpm sensor.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the reversing switch.

1. Connect the electrical connections for brake liquid level sensor (1a) and ABS control unit (1b).

1. Connect the electrical connection for the front crash sensor.

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR 1.3 Multijet VERSIONS

1. Connect the electrical connections for pressure sensor (1a) and temperature sensor (1b) for the particulate filter

1. Connect the electrical connections for the heater plugs control unit.

- THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE VALID FOR ALL VERSIONS.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the windscreen washer pump.

2. Connect the electrical connection for the linear pressure switch.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the horn.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the engine cooling fan.

1. Connect the electrical connection to the engine cooling fan adjustment rheostat.

- Secure the engine compartment wiring with the retaining clips on the passenger compartment bulkhead and tighten the bands.

- Connect the battery terminals.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift-
