7. Disconnect multiplugs from injectors and position harness aside.
8. Release clip and disconnect fuel hose from fuel rail.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

9. Remove 3 bolts securing fuel rail to inlet manifold.
10. Release injectors from inlet manifold.
11. Remove fuel rail complete with injectors.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

12. Remove and discard lower ’O’ rings from injectors.
13. Fit protective cap to each injector.

14. Remove clips securing injectors to fuel rail.
15. Remove injectors from fuel rail.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

16. Remove and discard upper ’O’ rings from injectors.

Refit

1. Clean injectors and injector recesses in fuel rail and inlet manifold.
2. Lubricate NEW injector ’O’ rings with fuel.
3. Fit NEW ’O’ rings to inlet end of injectors.
4. Remove plugs from fuel rail.
5. Fit injectors to fuel rail and secure clips with clips.
6. Remove protective caps from injectors.
7. Lubricate NEW injector ’O’ ring with fuel.
8. Fit NEW ’O’ rings to injectors.
9. Align injectors to inlet manifold and push fuel rail into position.
10. Fit bolts securing fuel rail to inlet manifold and tighten to 10 Nm.
11. Remove plugs from fuel return hose and fuel rail.
12. Connect fuel return hose to fuel rail and secure with clip.
13. Remove plugs from fuel feed hose and fuel rail.
14. Lubricate NEW fuel feed hose ’O’ ring with fuel.
15. Fit NEW ’O’ ring to fuel feed hose.
16. Connect fuel feed hose to fuel rail.
17. Position fuel rail support bracket to feed hose and manifold, fit bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.
18. Position injector harness and connect multiplugs.
19. Fit inlet manifold chamber. See this section.
