FUEL RAIL - ’T’ SERIES

Service repair no - 19.60.04

Remove

  1. Position absorbent cloth around fuel filter union, loosen union to relieve pressure and retighten union.
  2. Remove inlet manifold chamber. See this section.
Fuel rail - ’t’ series – Remove inlet manifold chamber. See this section.
  1. Remove 4 bolts securing fuel rail support bracket to fuel rail and manifold.
  2. Remove support bracket.
  3. Release fuel feed hose from fuel rail.
  4. Remove and discard ’O’ ring.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

Fuel rail - ’t’ series – Remove and discard ’O’ ring.
  1. Disconnect multiplugs from injectors and position harness aside.
  2. Release clip and disconnect fuel hose from fuel rail.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove 3 bolts securing fuel rail to inlet manifold.
  2. Release injectors from inlet manifold.
  3. Remove fuel rail complete with injectors.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

Fuel rail - ’t’ series – Remove fuel rail complete with injectors.
  1. Remove and discard lower ’O’ rings from injectors.
  2. Fit protective cap to each injector.
Fuel rail - ’t’ series – Fit protective cap to each injector.
  1. Remove clips securing injectors to fuel rail.
  2. Remove injectors from fuel rail.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove and discard upper ’O’ rings from injectors.
