  1. Release forward 150mm of cantrail seals from hood frame.
  2. Release outer covering from adhesive on underside of header rail, taking care not to rip interlayer fabric especially at sides of header rail.
  3. Bend location tang up by minimum amount necessary to release cantrail tensioning cables from header rail.

  1. Fold outer covering away from header rail.
  2. If plastic beading strip becomes detached from header rail, refit strip with longest lip on underside, ensuring it is central to header.
  3. Raise hood partially until forward half of hood is vertical.

  1. Power hood: Place chocks in both sides of hood mechanism.
