Removing

- Position the vehicle on the lift.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R

Op. 1076B20 REAR EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R

Op. 1076B40 CENTRE EXHAUST PIPE - R.R.

- Follow the instructions below for all pipes from the fuel manifold to the injector:

Op. 1060F34 PIPE FROM FUEL MANIFOLD TO INJECTOR - R.R.

Op. 1060G22 CAM ANGLE SENSOR - R.R

- Follow the procedure described below for all the injectors:

Op. 1060F11 INJECTOR ONE R R

Op. 1060F52 FUEL RETURN PIPE FROM INJECTORS - R.R.

Op. 1044B10 FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY - R + R OR REPLACE

Op. 1088B10 ENGINE COOLANT SUPPLY RESERVOIR - R.R.

Op. 1008B10 POWER UNIT FRONT SUPPORT FLEXIBLE MOUNTING (TIMING SIDE) - REPLACE

Op. 1008A46 POWER UNIT RIGID SUPPORT - TIMING SIDE - R.R.

Op. 1016B10 SINGLE CAMSHAFT HOUSING - REPLACE GASKET

1. Remove the template from the exhaust side camshaft.

- Position the single camshaft housing in a vice.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and separate the pressure pump (1b) and the vacuum unit (1c) from the camshaft housing.

1. Using the counter-torque tool (1a) and a spanner, undo the bolts (1b) fixing the camshafts.

1. Remove the camshaft gears.

Refitting

- Fit the camshaft gears in their housing in the cylinder head.

1. Using the counter-torque tool (1a) and a torque wrench, tighten the bolts (1b) fixing the camshafts to the recommended torque.

- Fit the pressure pump and the vacuum unit and tighten the fixing bolts on the camshaft housing.

- Remove the single camshaft housing from the vice.

1. Fit the timing templates on the cylinder head.

Fit the tool and position with its millings horizontal. Ensure it fits into the seat on the camshaft.

Op. 1044B10 FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY - R + R OR REPLACE

Op. 1060F52 FUEL RETURN PIPE FROM INJECTORS - R.R.

- Follow the procedure described below for all the injectors

Op. 1060F11 INJECTOR ONE R R

Op. 1060G22 CAM ANGLE SENSOR - R.R

- Follow the instructions below for all pipes from the fuel manifold to the injector

Op. 1060F34 PIPE FROM FUEL MANIFOLD TO INJECTOR - R.R.

Op. 1076B40 CENTRE EXHAUST PIPE - R.R.

Op. 1076B20 REAR EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R

Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
