DISPLAY DOES NOT SHOW RANGE ON TRIP MODULE
With the key ON, the fuel consumption gauge on the display (one of the displays on the TRIP COMPUTER module) is not operational.
N.B: The display shows the range processed by the instrument panel node on the basis of information received from the body computer node (distance and fuel level as a percentage) and from the engine management node (consumption) made available to the instrument panel node via the B-CAN and C-CAN respectively. This data is then adjusted proportionally according to the tank capacity programmed at the EOL.
In the absence of speed information (from the Brake Node) or instantaneous fuel consumption data (from the Engine Control Node), the fuel consumption data will be replaced by the reading "----"

Interview the customer to check that the TRIP function has not been recently reset Check that the fuel gauge shows a sufficient quantity of fuel | Move on to Step 1 | 1. One of the TRIP COMPUTER functions has been reset 2. Insufficient amount of fuel | 1. The display reading will be "----" until sufficient distance has been covered to allow fuel consumption to be evaluated: if the value is not displayed after a few kilometres, continue to Step 1 2.Refill with a sufficient amount of fuel | |
| 1 | CAN CHECK | All OK | Problems encountered | Operation |
Connect an EXAMINER and check the following on CAN NETWORK INFORMATION:
| Move on to Step 2 | 1. Fault on CAN network 2. Communication with the Body Computer impossible | 1. Continue following the instructions given by the diagnostic equipment 2. Move on to Step 8 | |
