INSTRUMENT PANEL NOT WORKING

1.2 8v, 1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

With the ignition ON, some of the warning lights are not timed and the instruments are not working with the engine running.

Test results

Connect an EXAMINER and check the following on CAN NETWORK INFORMATION:

  • No control units inactive
  • No faulty control units
  • no control units with faulty CAN
Move on to Step 1Fault on CAN networkContinue following the instructions given by the diagnostic equipment
1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTAll OKProblems encounteredOperation
Using the Examiner in the Instrument Panel Node mode, check that there are no errors and that the parameters are presentMove on to Step 2

1. Presence of errors

2. Communication with the instrument panel impossible

1. Continue following the instructions on the diagnostic instrument

2. Move on to Step 2

Check the electricity supply to the Instrument Panel Node is correct by carrying out the

Move on to Step 3

1. Supply not correct

2. Connection to panel not correctly connected

1. Restore correct power supply

2. Fit the connection correctly

1. Supply not correct

3. Body Computer defective

1. Restore correct power supply

2. Renew the connections

3. Replace Body Computer
