ENGINE SUMP

Service repair no - 12.60.44

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Raise front of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

  1. Remove LH underbelly panel. See BODY, Repairs.
  2. Remove RH underbelly panel. See BODY, Repairs.
  3. Drain engine oil. See Adjustments.
Engine sump – Drain engine oil. See Adjustments.
  1. Remove 2 bolts securing PAS pipes to centre beam.
Engine sump – Remove 2 bolts securing PAS pipes to centre beam.
  1. Remove bolt securing steady bar bracket to centre beam.
  2. Remove 8 bolts securing centre beam to front and rear cross-members.
  3. Remove centre beam.
Engine sump – Remove centre beam.
  1. Remove 6 Allen screws securing sump reinforcing plate. Remove plate.
