FRONT SUBFRAME - REAR MOUNTING

Service repair no - 68.40.03

Remove

  1. Raise front of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

Front subframe - rear mounting – Raise front of vehicle.
  1. Remove 3 bolts securing subframe mount to body.
  2. Remove bolt securing subframe mount to subframe and remove mount.
  3. Collect nylon washer.

Refit

  1. Fit bolt to subframe.
  2. Fit bolts securing subframe mount to body and tighten to 45 Nm.
  3. Fit nylon washer and mount to bolt and tighten to 100 Nm.

CAUTION: Ensure that the nylon washer is positioned over the mount tube, and that it does not become clamped between the mount and subframe.

  1. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
