Diagram of power window regulator assembly showing labels A, B, C and a screw, with figure number 76M 0776

A Regulator
B Motor
C Sector gear

Note:

  • Screw locations and quantities are shown by black triangles.
  • Use a TORX T25 socket to remove/refit screws.
  1. Before removing the power window motor, mark its location by scribing a line across the sector gear and regulator. Install using the motor bolts. Move the regulator to its original position by connecting a 12 V battery to the power window motor.
  2. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  3. Roll the glass up and down to ensure that it moves freely without binding. Also, make sure that there is no clearance between the glass and glass run channel when the glass is closed. Adjust the position of the glass if necessary.
  4. Attach the door harness to the door correctly.
  5. When reinstalling the plastic cover, apply adhesive along the edge where necessary to maintain a continuous seal and prevent water leaks.
