Remove

  1. Remove rear seat cushion, see Rear seat cushion – 400 Series.
  2. Remove rear seat squab, see Rear seat squab – 400 Series.

Models with sun roof

  1. Open sun roof. Disconnect battery earth lead.

  1. Remove screw, sun roof handle to sun roof, and remove handle.
  2. Remove 2 screws, escutcheon to sun roof, and remove escutcheon.

  1. Remove sun roof aperture seal finisher.
  2. Release headlining from sun roof aperture.

  1. Release clip and remove 2 screws securing each sun visor. Remove 2 sun visors.

  1. Remove blanking plug from each sun visor clip.
  2. Remove screw, each sun visor clip to body, and remove both sun visor clips.

  1. Remove 2 covers and 2 screws securing each grab handle.
  2. Remove 3 grab handles.
  3. Remove interior lamp, see ELECTRICAL – Repairs.
  4. Remove head restraint from each front seat.
