36. Position absorbent cloth around fuel filter outlet union.
37. Loosen fuel filter outlet union to relieve fuel pressure.

CAUTION: To prevent damage to fuel system pipes and components use two spanners when loosening or tightening unions.

38. Disconnect fuel outlet pipe from fuel filter and position aside.

39. Release clip and disconnect hose from fuel return pipe.

40. Release throttle cable adjusting nut from abutment bracket.
41. Disconnect throttle cable from throttle cam.

42. Depress plastic collar on quick release connector and disconnect brake servo vacuum pipe from inlet manifold.
43. Release throttle cable from clip on inlet manifold.
44. Disconnect ECM vacuum pipe from inlet manifold.
45. Loosen clip and disconnect expansion tank hose from inlet manifold.
46. Loosen clip and disconnect coolant hose from thermostat housing.
