CAMSHAFT TIMING BELT UPPER FRONT COVER

Service repair no - 12.65.41

Remove

Camshaft timing belt upper front cover – Service repair no - 12.65.41
  1. Remove 4 bolts securing timing belt upper front cover to rear cover.
  2. Remove timing belt upper front cover.

Refit

  1. Ensure sealing strips are correctly located in upper front cover.
  2. Fit timing belt upper front cover and tighten bolts to 5 Nm.

CAMSHAFT TIMING BELT LOWER FRONT COVER

Service repair no - 12.65.43

Remove

  1. Remove timing belt upper front cover. See this section.
  2. Remove crankshaft pulley. See this section.
Camshaft timing belt lower front cover – Remove crankshaft pulley. See this section.
  1. Remove 6 bolts securing lower front cover.
  2. Remove lower front cover.

Refit

  1. Ensure sealing strips are correctly located in lower front cover.
  2. Fit lower front cover to engine and tighten bolts to 5 Nm.
  3. Fit crankshaft pulley. See this section.
  4. Fit timing belt upper front cover. See this section.
