FUEL INJECTION PUMP TIMING BELT COVER

Service repair no - 12.65.53

Remove

  1. Remove engine acoustic cover. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
  2. Remove air cleaner. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - EDC, Repairs.
Fuel injection pump timing belt cover – Remove air cleaner. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - EDC, Repairs.
  1. Remove 2 bolts securing PAS pipe clamps to coolant rail.
  2. Remove lower clamp.
  3. Move PAS pipe aside for access to timing belt cover bolts.
Fuel injection pump timing belt cover – Move PAS pipe aside for access to timing belt cover bolts.
  1. Remove 5 bolts and nut and remove injection pump timing belt cover.

Refit

  1. Fit timing belt cover, fit and tighten nuts and bolts to 5 Nm.
  2. Fit PAS pipe to clamps.
  3. Fit lower clamp and fit both bolts.
  4. Fit air cleaner. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - EDC, Repairs.
  5. Fit engine acoustic cover. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
