  1. Loosen clip and disconnect PAS pump feed hose from PAS fluid reservoir.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove 5 bolts securing centre beam.
  2. Remove centre beam.
  3. Remove exhaust front pipe. See REPAIR MANUAL - Manifold & Exhaust Systems, Repairs.

  1. Remove bolt and disconnect gear change steady bar. Collect 2 washers.
  2. Remove clip retaining selector rod roll pin.
  3. Using a suitable punch, drive out selector rod roll pin.
  4. Tie selector rod and steady bar aside.
All models – Tie selector rod and steady bar aside.
  1. Remove and discard nuts and withdraw damper fork bolts from lower arms.
  2. Remove pinch bolts from damper forks.
  3. Remove damper forks.
  4. Remove split pins from lower ball joint nuts. Discard split pins and remove castellated nuts.
