Injector - KV6

Refit

1. Clean injectors and fuel rail.
2. Lubricate new ’O’ ring seals with petroleum jelly and fit to injectors.
3. Fit injectors to fuel rail and secure with clips
4. Fit new sealing washer to fuel temperature sensor, fit sensor and tighten to 7 Nm.
5. Lubricate and fit new ’O’ rings to fuel pressure regulator.
6. Fit pressure regulator and secure with clip.
7. Position fuel rail assembly to inlet manifolds.
8. Align injectors to inlet manifolds.
9. Fit and tighten fuel rail securing bolts to9 Nm.
10. Secure harness clips to fuel rail.
11. Connect fuel pipes to fuel rail and secure pipes to clips.
12. Fit bolt securing fuel return pipe to inlet manifold and tighten to 9 Nm .
13. Position coil mounting plate and tighten bolts to 9 Nm .
14. Connect multiplugs to coils.
15. Align alternator to mounting bracket, fit and tighten bolts to 45 Nm.
16. Fit RH engine mounting, fit and tighten bolts mounting to engine to 75 Nm.
17. Align engine mounting to body, fit and tighten through bolt to 45 Nm
18. Align plug lead retainer and tighten screw.
19. Using a 25 mm spanner raise belt tensioner and connect drive belt to steering pump and alternator pulleys. Ensure belt is correctly located in pulley grooves.
20. Fit inlet manifold chamber. See MANIFOLD & EXHAUST SYSTEMS, Repairs.
