  1. Remove bolt securing oil cooler pipe clip to bracket on coolant pump mounting.
  2. Remove oil cooler pipe union nut from oil pump and disconnect pipe from pump.
  3. Remove and discard ’O’ ring.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove 2 bolts securing oil cooler pipe clips to sump.
Remove 2 bolts securing oil cooler pipe clips to sump.
  1. Remove clip and disconnect vacuum pump oil return hose from adaptor on sump.
Remove clip and disconnect vacuum pump oil return hose from adaptor on sump.
  1. Using sequence shown, remove 17 bolts securing sump to cylinder block.
  2. Remove sump.
  3. If fitted - remove and discard gasket.
