  1. Release 3 engine harness clips from camshaft drive belt back cover.
  2. Remove 5 bolts and remove camshaft timing belt back cover.
Remove 5 bolts and remove camshaft timing belt back cover.
  1. Remove Allen bolt securing tensioner pulley to mounting plate.
  2. Remove tensioner.
  3. Remove 3 bolts securing injection pump timing belt back plate to cylinder head.

CAUTION: Do not remove locking pin 18G 1717.

  1. Remove back plate.
  2. Clean timing belt tensioner and backplate.
