Dim dip resistor ’d’ series

Refit

1. Position dim dip resistor to battery tray mounting bracket and secure with pop rivets.
2. Position battery tray mounting bracket.
3. Connect multiplug to dim dip resistor.
4. Fit 2 bolts securing battery tray to body and tighten to 9 Nm.
5. Position air intake hose to battery tray mounting bracket and secure with bolt.
6. Position harness and secure clip to body.
7. Position battery tray to mounting bracket.
8. Fit bolts securing battery tray to mounting bracket.
9. Fit air cleaner. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - MEMS, Repairs.

DIM DIP RESISTOR ’D’ SERIES

Service repair no - 86.55.92

Remove

1. Disconnect multiplug from dim dip resistor.
2. Remove bolt and remove resistor.

Refit

1. Fit resistor and secure with bolt.
2. Connect multiplug to dim dip resistor.
