FRONT DOOR LOCK SWITCH

Service repair no - 86.26.28

Remove

NOTE: Raise door glass fully before commencement of work.

  1. Remove door trim casing. See BODY, Doors.
  2. Release plastic sheet from rear of door.
Front door lock switch – Release plastic sheet from rear of door.
  1. Disconnect door harness from switch multiplug.
  2. Release 4 clips securing lock switch harness and multiplug to door.
Front door lock switch – Release 4 clips securing lock switch harness and multiplug to door.
  1. Remove clip securing switch to private lock and remove switch from lock.

Refit

  1. Fit switch to private lock and secure with clip.
  2. Route switch harness behind window channel and secure clips to door.
  3. Connect door harness to switch multiplug.
  4. Fit plastic sheet to door.
  5. Fit door trim casing. See BODY, Doors.
