  1. Release clips securing coolant bleed hose to manifolds, release and remove hose.

  1. Progressively loosen and remove 14 bolts securing camshaft cover.
  2. Remove camshaft cover and gasket.

  1. Remove 2 nuts securing front manifold flange to rear manifold flange.
  2. Progressively loosen and remove 8 cylinder head bolts.
  3. Using assistance, remove cylinder head assembly.
  4. Remove and discard cylinder head gasket and exhaust manifold flange gasket.

CAUTION: Do not rotate crankshaft with cylinder head removed. Place cylinder head on blocks of wood to avoid damaging valves.
