Control Unit Input Test:
- Remove the boot right side trim panel, then disconnect the 26 – P and the 22 – P connectors from the keyless power door lock control unit.
- Inspect the connector and the socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
- If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary and recheck the system.
- If the terminals look OK, make the following input tests at the connector.
- If a test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, the control unit may be faulty, replace it.
Note: Different wires with the same colour have been given a suffix number to distinguish them, (for example, GRN/WHT¹ and GRN/WHT³) are not the same.
